As Christians, we need to use the Bible as our guiding light. The world as they knew it was about to change and Noahs sons, as you will soon see, were an essential part of Gods plan for the repopulation of the earth. Its interesting that Noah lived 350 years after the flood, and this is the only episode from that long life that Moses records for us. These similarities suggest that these episodes are meant to be compared. When the Israelites got ready to enter the Promised Land, God told them to utterly wipe out the Canaanitesdestroy their cities, kill their animals, and kill all the peoplemen and women, adults and children (. After the Flood, God purposed Noah's sons and their wives and offspring with the task of repopulating the world. God essentially placed a boundary on these creatures, (only found in southern United States and Chinas Yangtze River valley). So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died. This is proof that the flood was not Gods ultimate solution to the problem of human sin, nor was Noah the savior, the seed of the woman who would bruise the serpents head (Gen. 3:15).
